Lubera stops plant deliveries to the UK
Due to Brexit, we are not able to deliver to the UK. We are working on a solution on how we can continue to bring a wide range of Lubera plants to the UK and directly to our customers' homes in the future. However, such a solution will not be available before 2022 or 2023.

Product information "Cherry laurel"

Prunus laurocerasus 'Otto Luyken' is a wide-spreading, evergreen shrub that reaches a height of 1 m. It is a dwarf form of English laurel. The leaves are leathery, narrow and glossy dark green. Tiny, white, cup-shaped flowers form in upright clusters in April and May. The fragrant flowers give way to small, black, cherry-like fruit that is loved by local bird populations. This free flowering plant is very hardy and it tolerates shade. It generally prefers sun in cooler areas and shadier conditions in hotter areas. Also known as cherry laurel, it is grown best in organically rich, well-drained soils. It isparticularly tolerant to pruning; prune as needed after flowering. 'Otto Luyken' is ideal for hedges, background plantings or screens. It can grow well in coastal positions, at windy sites and even north facing locations.
