Product information "Sawara Cypress"

Chamaecyparis pisifera 'Boulevard' is a species of false cypress; it is a slow growing conifer tree and reaches a height of up to 3 m. It is a great eye catcher due to its silvery blue foliage and uniform, cone-shaped habit.
Commonly known as Sawara cypress, blue moss cypress or boulevard false cypress, this ornamental tree is popular in parks and gardens and looks especially beautiful in contrast with yellow false cypress varieties such as 'Alumigold' or as an underplanting with Calluna vulgaris. This tree is very hardy and undemanding; it benefits from regular pruning throughout its life.
