We made a short documentary about the whole process of breeding a new apple variety, splitted in 10 video parts.

Part Ten:
So here we are at the final stage of apple breeding. We selected the mother and father varieties, pollenized them manually, tested them with artificial apple scab inoculations, selected the genotypes by taste... and now after a couple of years, you (or mainly Markus;) can decidewhether a variety has the potential and characteristics to make it onto the market or not.
