Dear Gardener
Which gardener wouldn't like to have a plant in his garden that the neightbour doesn't have at the
moment... something different. And exactly this is one of my most important goals working through
our and others breeding fields: to have open eyes , to see the 'different' things, to see mother
nature's glorious presents also if they don't meet the objectives we had making this or that cross.
And thanks to this perspective (which is almost impossible if your are breeding mainstream for
the fruit industry) we are able to find special varieties again and again, even new and
different fruit species which will enrich your gardens.
By now you have already heard and read about our Redloves®, the first really new apples since Eva,
and you will learn about other plants soon enough. Or did you ever hear of kiwi maturing in August?
Or think of an ornamental shrup with nice blooms, perfume, eatable berries and autumn coloration.
Not bad? You will find these and others on this site. Please stay tuned.
