Melt-in-the-mouth flesh!

Pick these magnificent pears in late September and early October and they will be fully ripe and ready to eat in December. The fruits are very large and wide below, tapering above, with dark red or purple skins. Scoop out the melt-in-the-mouth flesh with a spoon. There is absolutely no graininess and the taste is divine! The healthy trees will provide consistent crops year after year. Supplied as a bare root tree. One of the easiest of trees to grow. Grown on 'Quince A' rootstock giving a tree with moderate vigour and promoting pears to fruit at an early age.

Markus, I have just watched your Royal pear video and I thoroughly enjoyed watching and listening to you. I have to see if your Swiss version is as amusing - you should have a spot on food television! It must be really fun to work with you. I have enough young fruit trees and have just bought the 3 red apples with the help of a friend in Laufen ch and am seriously thinking about this Royal Pear but have no place for it. MUST now watch all the other vidoes :-)
