What are Lubera® Paradis® apples?
For nearly 20 years, Lubera has been the only nursery in the German speaking countries that actively breeds apples. It was our goal from the start to breed new varieties of apples that can be easily cultivated in the home garden, and offer more success and enjoyment. With the Lubera Paradis® apples we have achieved this goal.

Lubera® Paradis® apple varieties include the following:
- Better taste; we're not looking for standard flavours, but rather something unique, something special
- Very productive, they bear fruit immediately in the second year after planting
- Resistant to scab, which means they are easier to cultivate and they can do without fungal sprays

These are plants that can be enjoyed immediately and without effort once planted.
  • Lubera Breeding This plant was bred by Lubera in Switzerland and placed on the market after extensive testing at our facilities in Buchs (CH) and Bad Zwischenahn (D). In 20 years of work, Lubera's founder and breeder Markus Kobelt has bred more than 80 of his own new varieties for the home garden; they all have the goal of providing you, our customers, with more experience and flavour, easier growing and more resistant, more robust varieties.

APPLE TREES (Sonja Dreher)

Hello,
no, our apple trees are not self-fertilizing. If you have apple trees in the neighborhood, then pollination should not be a problem.
Amongst Cherries and Plums are some varieties that are self-fertilizing.
Cherry: Lapind / Damsons : all from the "Top" family / Peaches: Franszikus, Harrow Beauty and Benedicte / Apricots : Luizet, Bergeron, Harlayne
Please have a look at our online shop. Every description says, whether a plant is self-fertilizing or not.

greetings
your Lubera Team
