Product information "Columnar Apple Malini® Greenlight®"

We had to wait almost 20 years before a yellow/green columnar apple originated in our breeding. Here it is, green and light, as it if it has to share the road. And it is exactly when you want in a green apple: beautifully decorative, juicy, sour, refreshing.
Appearance: Medium-sized apple, rather a bit flat, beautifully green, slightly yellow brightening  when overripe (like all green varieties)
Texture/firmness: Very firm; here you can feel the scab-resistant variety 'Resista' as a parent that also has very firm flesh
Flavour: What you would expect from a green apple? It is expected to be sour, very crisp and juicy. After the early October harvest, the apple can be stored slightly before consumption
Growth: Upright, columnar habit, which was primarily inherited by the mother variety Telamon; belongs together with 'Pronto' and 'Subito' as the more medium strong and slow-growing varieties, about 2 - 2.5 m high, little formation of side shoots
Harvest/maturity: Early October, can be eaten from mid-October
  • Flowering Period April, May
  • Ripeness/Harvest Period October
  • Final height 2m to 3m

malini apple tree (malini greenlight) (Lubera)

You can plant as long as the soil is not frozen. We ship until christmas and then from begin of March on. Greenlight will be around 2-2.5m high in 7 years. You get the plant in a pot bur if you want to let them grow in a pot you have to repot it in a bigger one.
