Product information "Apple Paradis® Ninifee®"

Paradis Ninifee is a summer apple with all the characteristics of a storage apple. Sweet, with a broad flavour; it may be stored for months. However this makes little sense because many more exceptionally good Paradis apple varieties start to ripen in September. But what makes sense is to have this apple ripen over a period of 4-5 weeks; it ripens more and more, but always consistently stays firm and crisp while hanging on the tree. And every day you can just pick what your heart and palate desires. What could be better on your way to work...quickly pick a Ninifee to take with you and look forward to your next fruit break.

Shape/appearance: Medium-sized, tall, bright red colour on 50 % and more of the apple, slightly striped
Texture/firmness: Very firm and crisp, can be stored, also remains firm and crisp
in the fruit bowl for weeks
Taste/aroma: Intensely sweet, for lovers of sweet apples
Growth/health: Compact, well-branched, extremely fruitful
Harvest/maturity/storage: Ready for harvest from 20 August; can hang for 4-5 weeks longer; also has an excellent shelf life, which is unusual for an early variety; scab resistant and less susceptible to mildew

What are Lubera® Paradis® apples?
For nearly 20 years, Lubera has been the only nursery in the German speaking countries that actively breeds apples. It was our goal from the start to breed new varieties of apples that can be easily cultivated in the home garden, and offer more success and enjoyment. With the Lubera Paradis® apples we have achieved this goal.

Lubera® Paradis® apple varieties include the following:
- Better taste; we're not looking for standard flavours, but rather something unique, something special
- Very productive, they bear fruit immediately in the second year after planting
- Resistant to scab, which means they are easier to cultivate and they can do without fungal sprays
