Product information "Aromatic Peach Veroma® Bello"
Like Veroma® Pico, Veroma® Bello was created from a cross between the original Tibetan peach Prunus mira and peach varieties that are tolerant to leaf curl. Veroma® Bello is characterised by its gigantic yield; the fruits are slightly larger than Veroma® Pico, about 6-8 cm. If you thinned this variety, i.e. thinned the fruits to a distance of 20-25 cm when they are nut-sized, a normal, average fruit size of 8-10 cm can be reached. With Bello, the peach flavour tends to be more intense, but it is a little less juicy than Veroma® Pico. We have selected this second variety in addition to Pico® because it has a nearly better potential than a cultivated peach due to the slightly better fruit size. But both Pico and Bello can also be grown like a wild fruit tree without thinning, and the resulting small fruits still offer the typical, intense original peach flavour.Benefits of the aromatic peach Veroma® Bello
