Product information "The Fruitful Soil No. 1 | Pots & Containers"

Only for plants grown in pots and containers is there a need for additional, 'artificial' soil.

• with expanded clay
• with wood fibres
• with iron and microorganisms

The use of garden soil would lead to silting. Our peat-reduced, structurally stable potting soil for your balcony and terrace plants is the basis for many flowers and a rich harvest. It is also suitable for growing plants in containers for many years. The additional supply of iron provides dark green foliage; special microorganisms promote healthy root growth and keep your plants vital. The peat content is reduced.
What is the soil for pots & containers suitable for?
Our Fertile Soil No. 1 for pots & containers has a very stable structure and is therefore ideally suited for container plantings. It stores water particularly well and has a very high nutrient exchange capacity. An extra citrus plant is not necessary!

The Fertile Soil No. 1 for pots & containers can be used for almost all potted and container plants:

• Mediterranean and native woody plants, such as figs, citrus plants, oleanders, pomegranates, maple trees...
• Berry plants such as raspberries, blackberries, gooseberries, strawberries ...
• Ornamental plants, e.g. dahlias, hydrangeas, beard flowers, dwarf viburnum, mock orange, lilacs...
An exception are bog bed plants and other plants that require acidic soil. For this purpose we recommend the Fertile Soil No. 3 for Bog Beds.
What does Fertile Soil No. 1 consist of?
• White peat: 40%
• Black peat: 20%
• LIGNOFIBRE (wood fibres): 25%
• Expanded clay 1-5, weight: 15%
• Fe-Max (iron fertiliser): 40 g/m³
