Growth: Compact growth, a beautiful ornamental plantFlowers: Purple buds and young shoots
Fruits: Ripe fruits throughout the entire year with focus in the winter and early spring, large, 65-75 mm, smooth peel, with seeds, less sour than most lemons
History and use:
The Meyer lemon was discovered by the famous plant hunter Frank N. Meyer near Beijing in 1908 and brought to the USA by order of the American Department of Agriculture. The Meyer lemon is probably a hybrid between lime and tangerine. It is a beautiful plant for gardens and pots.
Frost hardiness/overwintering: Down to -5°C, better cold resistance than other lemons; overwinter in a cold house; also possible in a very bright apartment (but not recommended by us)

- Use greenhouses/winter gardens, for containers, South- and West-facing walls, as a specimen plant

Hello, I noticed your description says the plant has compact growth. Does this mean it is a Dwarf Meyer lemon? How tall will the tree be when fully-grown (dwarf, 3-4 ft, or standard, 10+ ft)? Also, how old are each of the sizes available and do you expect both sizes to be of age to produce fruit this year? Thank you, Ashley
