Product information "Pink-fleshed Lemon with Colourful Foliage"

This lemon brings colour into the game! The variegated leaves are striking, which give the plant a very ornamental and playful exterior. The peel of the immature fruits takes on the cheerful colours of the leaves, but with increasing maturity the dichroism slowly diminishes (and changes towards yellow). The ripe lemons have an appetising pink colour on the inside

Growth: Medium strong, because of the variegated foliage very light-needy
Flowers: White
Fruits: Two-coloured, uniform yellowing with increasing maturity, with pink fruit pulp, which comes very close to a classic lemon
Use: Just like a culinary lemon
Frost hardiness/overwintering: In a cold house
  • Available April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November
  • Use greenhouses/winter gardens, for containers, South- and West-facing walls, as a specimen plant
  • Hardiness place in an unheated room during the winter
  • Soil moist, dry, moderately heavy, light, neutral, slightly acidic
  • Location full sun
  • Flower Colour white
  • Leaf Colour green
