Product information "Palestinian Lime 'Palestina'"

Growth: Medium strong, sometimes irregular growth
Flowers: White
Fruits: Thin, aromatic peel, the fruit pulp is very sweet, sometimes due to absence of acid even slightly stale (only 0.1% citric acid; oranges have 1% and the sour Tahiti lime 6%)
Use: Due to the mild flavour it is used in Asia, where not so much acidity is tolerated; popular with children; it is said to have health promoting properties; very juicy
Frost hardiness/overwintering: Down to -2°C; overwintering in a cold house is possible
