Product information "Clementine 'Tardivo'"
Growth: Compact, robust shrub with dark green, dense foliageFlowers: The main flowering season is in the spring, then the white flowers exude a sweet smell
Fruits: The clementines are flattened at the poles and are similar to the tangerines, but in contrast to these they are almost seedless. They have slightly more sugar and less sourness, so they are very tasty. They are ripe in late winter, but they also hang on to the tree until late spring. The peel has an intense orange colour; it is thin and easily separates from the pulp
Use: Clementines are excellent for eating fresh; the plants have a very high ornamental value
Frost hardiness/overwintering: Clementine trees want to be overwintered in a bright and cool location at about 5°C. Older specimens also tolerate slight frost (down to approx. -6°C).
