Product information "Easytree: Redlove® Lollipop®"

This apple would have never actually seen the light of a wide garden audience: if it wouldn’t have been so small-hearted, if it would not have been so kitschy pink on both the inside and outside, if the tree had not bloomed such a beautifully pink and if it had not been the first Lollipop amongst the apples!

Form/appearance: Small, rounded apple that is only 4-6 cm in diameter, very regular, beautiful pink striped. The external colouring is mirrored in the flesh, which is marbled pink. If you cut the apple crosswise, we see that the outer red stripes harmonise well with the inner, red colouration
Texture/firmness: Firm and crisp, very juicy, fine-celled flesh structure is not tough, but the juice releases quickly
Flavour/aroma: Sweet, sugary sweet. The sweetest Redlove that we have selected until now. Although there is also fruit acid, the juicy sweetness dominates! Unlike some Redlove® varieties, this latest Redlove has no dry finish
Growth/health: Scab resistant, slightly susceptible to powdery mildew, very healthy growth, but slow-growing. Although the mother of this variety is Maloni Lilly, it does not have its compact growth (Maloni type), but simply a weak, normal growth, perhaps comparable to Redlove® Era®
Harvest/maturity/storage: Redlove® Lollipop® is ripe starting at the end of August, but it remains crisp and fresh on the tree until almost the end of September. Redlove® Lollipop® is an autumn variety and cannot be stored. But who stores Lollipops?
