Product information "Grafted Walnut 'Europa'"
With the walnut 'Europa' we can grow a walnut tree that is even smaller, and thus more garden-friendly.'Europa' grows even weaker than 'Lara'; it also has the ability to bear fruits laterally (which leads to a very high yield potential) and is only about 3.5 m high. Compared to the Grenobler varieties or to Geisenheim, it is a real walnut dwarf. Why is the small walnut dwarf then called 'Europa', which is nevertheless quite large? We have no idea. Was there irony in the game?
For once and for good measure we would like to state explicitly that this name has not grown on our rich and well-stocked name compost. Whatever the case, the small walnut dwarf 'Europa' has large, oval nuts that are easy to open. The yield starts just early as Lara, after 2-3 years. This nut is not only easy to crack, but it can also be cracked quite quickly...
