Product information "Columnar Pear Pirini® Myway®"
Finally, a columnar pear. Although all columnar pears offered so far have strong apical dominance (as in general with all pears), but they develop side shoots and they have little or no compressed internodes. This variety combines an internode distance of only 20-30% of a normal pear with a strong tip production, and therefore comes much closer to a real columnar tree due to the characterised model of the columnar apple.Breeder: Frank Alston at the East Malling Research Station
Crossing: (Comice x 19B-29) x (x Conference Nain vert)
Fruits: Medium to large, oblong, beautifully coloured as the fruit ripens

Hi, I have several questions; could you tell me if this tree is self fertile, how big the fruit tree is when it is posted out, how long after planting it would take to first fruit and how many years would it take to reach maturity Thanks, Antony
