These are plants that can be enjoyed immediately and without effort once planted.
  • Lubera Breeding This plant was bred by Lubera in Switzerland and placed on the market after extensive testing at our facilities in Buchs (CH) and Bad Zwischenahn (D). Apple : Lilly (Gilbert Lee)

Does Lubera create new varieties via traditional cross-fertilisation, or via genetic modification, please. Specifically too, same question for variety "Lilly". I do not know Switzerland's laws, only EU. Thank you

Apple : Lilly (Philipp Schneider)

Dear Mr. Lee,

we breed our varieties only by traditional cross pollination. We do NOT use genetic modifications at all. We do traditional breeding: pollination, grow seedlings and screen them.
Best regards
Philipp Schneider, Lubera-Team.
