various questions (ilana kali)

Hi I have the following questions please: 1) Will I be able to keep 1xplant to a height and spread to approx.1.8-2m/ 6-7foot? 2) I noted that the plant does not like being waterlogged. This year there was a lot rain in a period of time but no flooding, l I have clay soil. Would I need to sharp grit to the soil? 3) I have alkaline soil I don't know the exact pH. WIll the plant grow in alkaline soil
