Growth: Quite compact with foliage similar to mandarin orangesFlowers: Small, white flowers
Fruits: Smaller than the Mexican lime and with a little more sugar
History and use: A crossing of the Mexican lime and the oval Kumquat, so this variety needs slightly less warmer temperatures than the tropical limes; good as a lime substitute in beverages or for souring instead of using lemon
Frost hardiness/overwintering: As cool as possible at 0-5°C in a cold house
