Product information "Crape Myrtle 'Monbazillac'®"
The crape myrtle variety 'Monbazillac'® also comes from the breeding work of the French nursery Desmartis in Bergerac. It has a strong growth and crowns its long shoots with conspicuously strong flower panicles, which also branch out. The flower colour is light pink, with a bright finish; and at the beginning of flowering there is also a dark pink shadow. With a continuous radical pruning, as is appropriate for northern gardens (the plant is pruned back to about 15-20 cm each year), 'Monbazillac'® will grow to about 1.5 to 2.5 m high. If the base of the plant gets very woody and is pruned slightly higher, it can grow to over 3 m high.- Flowering Period July, August, September
