Product information "Golden clematis"

This deciduous, yellow-flowered clematis is 3-4 m high. The numerous, small, yellow, lantern-shaped flowers bloom from August to November. After flowering, the decorative, fluffy seed heads remain attached for a long time. Renowned for its free-flowering nature and very long season of bloom, Clematis tangutica ‘Golden Tiara’ is suitable for pergolas and trellises; it can also climb into small trees or be combined with rambler roses. Also known as Russian virgin's bower, it prefers a sunny to partially shady location. This plant has good hardiness and slight pruning is recommended in the spring.
Clematis like fresh, humus-rich soil, as they are originally forest dwellers. They are flat rooted and prefer a constant temperature and soil moisture. A layer of mulch provides good results. Clematis are rich-flowering in ideal locations.
