Product information "Schisandra chinensis WuWeiZi 'Take 5'"

Growth: Attractive climber, needs help climbing up trellises, frames, creeping
Leaves: Dark green, oblong
Flowers/fruits: White, small, star-shaped flowers from May, strongly and aromatically fragrant, red berries from early August to September, from the variety 'Take 5' that was selected by Lubera, only one plant must be planted for it to be self-fertile
Size: A climber, 3 to 10 m high and up to 4 m wide, the size can be limited by pruning
Location: Prefers light shade to partial shade, avoid locations with extreme heat and drought, when the location is too sunny, the leaves turn yellow
Soil: Permeable, humus-rich soil, add potting soil or well fermented compost when planting to recommend, keep moist
Planting distance: 3 m
Part of plant: All parts, leaves and berries can have healing effects
Ingredients: Rich in amino acids, essential oils, lignans, triterpene, vitamin C, vitamin E and many other vitamins
Preparation: In China, it is one of the major tea, medicinal and aromatic plants. It is designated as a five-flavour fruit because it tastes sweet, sour, salty, bitter and spicy all at the same time
Good for: Cleans the vascular system, good for coughs, colds, libido, calming, balancing, energising, invigorating, revitalising, reduces stress, is used in China as a comprehensive source of energy

goji berry plants (Beverly Dehn)

First of all, thank you for the sample seeds that you sent. I have a broken fibula so I am not durr if I will be able to plant this year. Now for my question, I am in zone 5 in Illinois USA. I would like to plant some of the goji berries but not sure if they will do well here. Please advise. I would also like to try a fruit tree or two, so I would like to know of they would to slso .
