Product information "Clematis 'Girenas'"
Clematis Girenas has very evenly shaped, pink flowers. These consist of 6 petals and they reach a diameter of 12 to 14 cm. Each petal has a broad pink stripe in the centre. The long, white-red coloured stamens are also very decorative.Girenas forms numerous flowers from June to September. With its compact height of 200 cm, it is ideal for pots and planters. However, it is also a fantastic variety for beds. Here it climbs up obelisks, fences and trellises.
The pink flowers can easily be combined with other flower colours. They are very beautiful with all shades of blue and violet as well as with dark purple and wine red.
This uncomplicated clematis thrives in sunny and partially shady areas. For strong growth and rich flowering we recommend cutting the plant back annually in the spring. To do this, cut all of the shoots between 20 and 50 cm above ground level.
