Product information "Clematis 'Mrs George Jackman'"

'Mrs George Jackman' is a very noble clematis variety with large, elegant, pure white flowers. These consist of 6 to 8 petals, which have a small tip. The flowers are regularly shaped and reach a diameter of up to 18 cm. During the flowering season in May/June and August /September, the entire plant is covered with these bright white flowers.
This compact growing clematis variety was cultivated in England and reaches a growth height of 180 to 240 cm. It thrives in both sunny and semi-shady locations.
Due to its compact growth it is well suited for planting in containers. Thus it decorates terraces, balconies and courtyards. But this large-flowered beauty is also attractive in garden beds. Here it grows on obelisks, trellises, pergolas and rose arches.
The clear, pure white can easily be combined with other flower colours and it is particularly elegant against dark backgrounds.
'Mrs George Jackman' is reliably hardy and thrives in any normal, permeable garden soil. Even soil moisture without waterlogging is important. Once a year in February, you should cut back this this variety moderately. For this purpose, all of the shoots should be shortened by about 30%.
