Product information "Clematis viticella"
Clematis viticella is the botanical species, i.e. the original wild species. It comes from the Mediterranean and has been cultivated there for many centuries. It is also sometimes referred to as the Italian clematis. In the course of time, many attractive varieties have emerged from this wild form. But even this original variety does not need hide. It forms violet, bell-shaped flowers, which are traversed by dark veins. Each flower consists of 4 petals and has a diameter of 3 to 4 cm. Clematis viticella has strong growth and easily reaches heights of 300 to 450 cm. Its main flowering is in June and July. In September/October, a somewhat weaker, second bloom follows.
