Product information "Mini Kiwi 'Maskulino'"

The ideal pollinator variety for all Arguta kiwis. Good overlapping of the flowering period. The flowers are pure male, with only stamens.

Growth/health:  Strong/healthy, 7-10 m, very frost-resistant to -30°C
Botanical name: Actinidia arguta
What are Lubera grape kiwis?

Lubera grape kiwis are the best fruiting Actinidia arguta varieties that we have put together as an assortment. We call them grape kiwis because they bear fruit in clusters; they are more like berry plants than fruit trees, and because they are fruit-bearing vines just like table grapes. Grape kiwis are not just small kiwis (the term mini kiwi is also misleading and should really no longer be used); they are not only the small stepsisters of the classic kiwi, but a type of berry fruit in its own right.

Why plant Lubera grape kiwis?
-the fruits are edible with the skin
-they are more aromatic than the classic kiwi
-the yield is very high and regular and is usually earlier than the classic kiwi
-they are edible directly off the bush
-they are absolutely frost-resistant/hardy to about -30°C

  • Lubera Easy Tip Based on our experience in the variety tests but also in customer service, we have awarded this plant with the title “Lubera Easy Tip”. With this designation, we emphasise only those plants that according to our experience work (almost) everywhere; they are easy to grow and bear fruits or produce flowers quickly and without problems. These are plants that can be enjoyed immediately and without effort once planted.
