Product information "Clematis 'Tetrarose'"

Clematis montana Tetrarose is a Dutch breed that was brought to the market in 1960. With its bright pink flowers and delicate vanilla fragrance, this clematis has already found many enthusiasts. The flowers consist of 4 petals and have a size of 5 to 7 cm. The yellow stamens form a beautiful contrast to the bright pink of the flowers.
Like most Clematis montana varieties, Tetrarose is also very prolific. It effortlessly climbs heights of 10 m – sometimes even beyond that. It is simply magical when it covers old trees with its blossoms in May and June. In addition, it can also be guided well in the horizontal position in order to change fences, rock walls and house walls into a pink-coloured sea of flowers.
It is best to give this clematis plenty of space and let it grow. Since the flowering takes place on the old shoots, it should be cut as little as possible.
Clematis montana Tetrarose belongs to the most popular clematis varieties with its vitality and rich flowering, its beautiful flower colour and its fragrance. Moreover it is reliably hardy and thrives in sun and partial shade. This clematis giant is not recommended for planters.
