As specialists for scented roses, we at Lubera have always been fascinated by David Austin’s gigantic rose project: Combining the charm and fragrance of old garden roses with the ability to bloom repeatedly and the colours of modern roses. Can Mortimer sackler be planted in a large tub?

Rose in a tub (Your Lubera Team - Sonja Hendrischke)

Hello,

yes you can plant the rose in a large tub, put make sure to use a good special rose-soil. The tub should be at least 70cm deep, because the roots of roses reach deap. There should be holes in the tub to provide the rose from drowning.
Use a long-term fertilizer in springtime, and give the rose enough water when it is hot.

Kind regards
Your Lubera Team
Sonja Hendrischke
