Thuja occidentalis 'Tiny Tim' is a compact, slow-growing conifer. It is evergreen and has a spherical, finely branched habit. This American arborvitae cultivar reaches a height and width of about 70 cm. The foliage is light green and changes to a bronze-green colour in winter. It is a beautiful solitary plant that grows best in medium, well-drained soil in sun to partial shade. Also known as white cedar, this shrub likes humid weather with regular rains; deep waterings are advisable in hot and dry weather. 'Tiny Tim' tolerates slight pruning; prune in early spring before the onset of new growth. It is suitable for borders, containers and rock gardens.
