Product information "Maidenhair Tree 'Mariken' - Semi-standard"

In order for the dwarf ginkgo to show its advantage even better in the garden and in planters, we have grafted it as a standard. Thus, the stem height of the tree is fixed (40 cm) and it will not change. In the course of time only the trunk will become thicker and the crown will get thicker, rounder, and somewhat larger. So you acquire a permanent dwarf tree that you can cultivate for many years in a planter or with little space in the garden.
It is not demanding

The maidenhair standard tree thrives in sun or semi-shade and can cope with every garden soil. It is reliably frost hardy and usually does not require pruning. If a branch does grow strangely, it can simply be shortened or removed completely.
Decorative in beds and containers
With its fan-shaped foliage, this maidenhair tree is a real eye-catcher. In autumn, the leaves also turn bright yellow. As a standard, this dwarf tree can be underplanted with cushion perennials or flat-growing summer flowers – both in the bed and in the planter.
