Product information "Hinoki Cypress"

Hinoki cypress has a very noble growth form and grows extremely slowly. In height, the annual growth is only about 5 to 7 cm and in width even only 3 to 5 cm. The needles are dark green, flaky and shiny. They are arranged on the branches so that they always form small semicircles that are reminiscent of the shape of shells. After ten years, this cypress reaches a height of 50 to 70 cm. Very old plants can also become 2 metres high after many decades.
Does not need much space

With its compact, dense growth, Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Nana Gracilis' is ideal for small gardens and planters. The evergreen and year round decorative plant decorates garden beds, terraces, entrances and courtyards.
For sun and partial shade

The compact dwarf cypress thrives in sunny and partially shaded locations alike. It grows in both acidic and slightly alkaline soils. It is not the right choice for very calcareous soils.
