Lubera stops plant deliveries to the UK

Product information "Lawson's Cypress 'Ellwood's Gold'"

The needles of Chamaecyparis lawsoniana 'Ellwood's Gold' sets beautiful splashes of coloir in the garden: in the spring and summer it shimmers a lively golden yellow colour; in autumn and winter more yellow-green. The needles are very dense and have a soft, feathery structure.
 
Slow growth

The golden yellow Lawson’s cypress has a dense columnar shape. It grows slowly and reaches a height of 1 m as a ten-year-old plant. Old plants grow to a maximum of 2 to 3 m.
 
Perfect in pots and beds

With its clear habit, this evergreen conifer is well suited as a permanent and hardy container plant. It grows equally well in sun and shade and has no special soil requirements. As it grows evenly and densely by itself, pruning is not necessary. In the garden, you can use Lawson’s cypress 'Ellwood's Gold' singly or in small groups as a structure plant in beds or as a half-height privacy screen. Young plants can also be planted for some time as evergreen ornamental plant in a balcony box. Later, you can repot it into larger planters or plant it in the garden.
