Product information "Dwarf Japanese larch"
Larix kaempferi 'Little Bogle' is a Japanese dwarf form of Japanese larch. It gets its name from its bizarre, twisted and curved shape. Its deciduous needles progress from green in the spring to blue-green in the summer; later in autumn, they turn golden yellow. The gold-coloured stems are very effective and add winter interest. This shrub is highly recommended for small gardens, cemetery plantings or even for containers. It is also suitable for bonsai. 'Little Bogle' has little soil requirements, however it prefers moist, sandy soil and waterlogging should be avoided. It has good hardiness and grows best in full sun to partial shade. This relatively low maintenance shrub usually looks best without pruning, although it will tolerate pruning.
