Colorado spruce is a slow growing conifer with a spherical habit and vigorous, compact growth. This dense, spreading evergreen shrub grows to a height of about 1 m. The bright, blue-grey needles hold their colour well throughout the yea; they are the brightest when they first emerge in the spring. This dwarf shrub is easily grown in average, well-drained soils in full sun. It is suitable for rock gardens. The upright shoots should be pruned out in order to maintain the globe shape.- Final height 100cm to 140cm
