Product information "Burkwood viburnum"
Viburnum burkwoodii is a densely-branched evergreen shrub that grows up to 2.5 m tall. It has glossy, dark green leaves and very fragrant, white or pale pink flowers in mid and late spring. The flowers are followed by clusters of red, berry-like drupes which ripen black.Commonly known as burkwood viburnum, this shrub is easily grown in average, medium, well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. It prefers moist loams, but tolerates a wide range of soils and has good drought tolerance. For best cross-pollination and subsequent fruit display, it is best to plant shrubs in groups rather than as single specimens.
