Product information "Bush honeysuckle"

Diervilla splendens or bush honeysuckle is a small deciduous shrub (1 m high) with pretty, red-brown leaf shoots that later turn green. The interesting, sulphur yellow flowers appear in June/August and are a nice colour contrast to the multi-coloured leaves. The growth is bushy and upright.
Bush honeysuckle is disease resistant and tolerates many soil conditions. With its preference for semi-shady locations, it is well suited for planting beneath large trees. It is a very durable plant that can be used on embankments. Bush honeysuckle attracts insects and butterflies to the garden.
