Product information "Lilac, dwarf lilac Tinkerbelle' ®"

Syringa 'Tinkerbelle' is a rounded, upright, non-suckering, deciduous shrub that typically growsto a height of 1.5-2 m andis just as wide. This hybrid lilac is best noted for its compact shape and its wine-coloured buds that open to sweetly fragrant, pale pink flowers. The flowers appear in mid- to late spring. The leaves are dark green.
This lilac is easily grown in average, well-drained soils in full sun. It tolerates light shade, but blooms best in full sun. It is best planted as a feature or specimen in the garden or as a hedge as it attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. Removing the faded flowers promptly before the seed set will increase the bloom in the following year.
The dwarf lilac 'Tinkerbelle' is mildew resistant. The buds are red at first. When they open, pink flowers with an aromatic fragrance appear.
