Flowers

Prunus serrulata Amanogawa is a slow-growing deciduous treewith a narrow, columnar crown. It reaches a height of approximately 5 m. The young leaves are bronze-coloured; they turn to mid-green and then to yellow and orange in autumn. Pure pink, double flowers hang in clusters on the upright branches and bloom from April to May.

Commonly known as Japanese flowering cherry, this tree grows best in sun and in fertile soils. It is an eye-catching tree and perfect for those with limited space.
