Product information "Wrinkled viburnum"

Viburnum rhytidophyllum is an open and wide spreading evergreen shrub that reaches a height of over 2 m. Its deeply veined, oval leaves are matt dark green with hairy undersides. Pearly white flowers bloom from May to June in flat umbels. The red berries form in June and later turn black in September. Also known as wrinkled viburnum, this ornamental plant is easily grown in average, well-drained soils in full sun to partial shade. If the shrub loses good form or needs revitalisation, prune to the ground. Otherwise, prune immediately after flowering since the flower buds form in the summer for the following year.
