Product information "Yellow-flowered Weigela"

Weigela middendorffiana is a bushy, deciduous shrub with loose growth; it reaches a height of about 1.5 m. It has narrow, green foliage and sulphur yellow, tubular flowers that appear in May and June. The flowers have a distinct, orange throat and they are slightly scented.
This small shrub grows best in full sun and thrives in any fresh garden soil. Cut out old wood regularly and cut of the flowering branches by at least two thirds in order to encourage new growth.
