Product information "Creeping Juniper 'Glauca'"

The needles of Juniperus horizontalis 'Glauca' shine in a clear silver blue. They are small and close to the fine, flexible shoots.
Extremely flat growth

At just 10 to 15 cm high, this blue creeping juniper grows extremely flat. This makes it an effective ground cover for sunny areas. The soft shoots grow carpet-like and relatively slow. Very old plants can reach a diameter of up to 2 m after decades.
Not demanding

Juniperus horizontalis 'Glauca' is very frost hardy and thrives in every garden soil. It is important that the location is as sunny as possible – then the silvery blue needle colour shines particularly intense.
For gardens or containers

In the garden, the blue creeping juniper serves as a robust and durable ground cover, e.g. in a stone or heather garden. The soft, overhanging shoots look very nice on stone walls. But even in window boxes, stone troughs, containers and pots, this evergreen dwarf conifer is attractive throughout the year and requires little care.
