Product information "Hedera helix 'Shamrock' - Ivy"
Plants per square meter: 5 piecesHedera helix ‘Shamrock’ is considered to be a low to medium strong growing variety and impresses with its many leaves and short internodes.
It is also called cloverleaf ivy because of its dark green, 3-lobed leaves. The indentations extend partially to the centre and resemble a cloverleaf. The leaves are about 2 to 3 cm in size.
The variety ‘Shamrock’ is suitable both for pots as well as for hanging baskets indoors; and thanks to its good hardiness, it even has many uses outdoors. For example, for planting in window boxes, containers and troughs. This ivy can even be used in grave design. Small areas are greened particularly dense and only about 15 cm high. ‘Shamrock’ can be used as a ground cover, climbing plant or hanging plant.
As a robust and undemanding plant, Hedera helix ‘Shamrock’ grows in both the shade and in full sun.
