Product information "Hydrangea 'Royal Red'®"

This winter hardy hydrangea is impressive because of its large, strong red-coloured flower balls. They appear from the end of June and bloom until autumn. The intense, dark red is a real sight and also has a good effect from a distance. The inflorescences can be used as cut flowers for vases, as dried flowers or table decoration.
Partial shade is preferred

Like all bigleaf hydrangeas, 'Royal Red'® loves partially shaded, sheltered sites. The hot midday sun should be avoided. Morning sun and afternoon sun are no problem, as long as the soil is moist enough. If the location is too shady, bigleaf hydrangeas usually do not grow so well.
