Product information "Lilac, dwart lilac Palibin"

Syringa meyeri 'Palibin' is a dwarf, rounded-oval, non-suckering, deciduous standard that typically grows to a height of 1.5-2.5 m and a width of 2-3 m. Commonly known as Korean lilac, it is a compact, low-spreading cultivar with reddish purple buds that open pale pink, sweetly fragrant, single flowers arranged in clusters. It blooms profusely in mid-season, typically in mid-May. It is easily grown in dry to medium, well-drained soils with a preference towards organically rich, moist, slightly acidic to slightly alkaline soils.
This lilac tolerates light shade, but blooms best in full sun. It can be used in a shrub border with an evergreen background or planted in groups to form a low hedge. Removing the faded flowers promptly before the seed set will increase the bloom in the following year.
