Product information "European larch"
Larix decidua is a deciduous conifer that grows to a large, conical tree. It is a vigorous growing tree that reaches an average height of 20 m. It broadens with age and its cream-coloured young shoots bear soft, light green needle-like leaves that turn a fantastic yellow in autumn.Commonly called European larch, it needs a free-standing location in well-drained, but not too dry soils. It is very cold tolerant and able to survive winter temperatures down to at least -50°. Avoiding waterlogging and shade.
