Product information "Rhododendron Hybrid 'Brasilia'"

The rhododendron hybrid 'Brasilia' blooms from mid-May to early June. The flowers are a deep pink colour on the outside; they are pale red to pale pink and orange-yellow on the inside. The plant is rather slow-growing and therefore is compact and spherical. It grows to around 2.5 m high and 4 m wide and is suitable for individual or group plantings.

What are INKARHO rhododendrons:
Thanks to a specially bred rootstock that is grafted to the selected rhododendrons, it is possible to grow INKARHO rhododendrons in normal garden soils. There is no need to undergo pH changes, as INKARHO rhododendrons cope well with limy and even heavy soils.

brasilia rhododendron hybrid (wendy)

Can you tell me if I can cut the rhododendron right down to the ground once the flowers have gone

rhododendron (Your Lubera Team - Sonja Hendrischke)

Hello,
after the flowers have gone, is the best time to cut the Rhododendron, if you want to have some flowers next year. The flowers appear on the last year's shoots..
If you want to cut down very rigorouse, then you can do it, after the frost is gone. Even from a stump with a few wooden branches it will thrive again.

Kind regards
your Lubera Team
