The rhododendron hybrid 'Catawbiense Grandiflorum' surprises with its außerdordentlich large, bright purple flowers with golden brown markings. The rhododendron 'Catawbiense Grandiflorum' is very vigorous with a wide, round habit and is fully leafy. It can grow up to about 4 m high and 2.50 m wide. It flowers from late May to mid-June and is suitable for individual or group plantings.
