The rhododendron hybrid 'Constanze' blooms from late May to mid-June in a strong dark pink with conspicuous wine red markings. The shrub is weak growing. It grows wide, round and compact. It reaches a height of up to 2.50 m high and is almost 4 meters wide; it is well suited for individual or group plantings.
