Product information "Azorella trifurcata 'Nana'"
Dwarf emerald carpet is a valuable ground covering perennial that also forms a green cushion all year round. It has a more compact habit than the genuine variety. Its growth is similar to grass and rosette-like. In May and June, small, yellow, single flowers appear in dense clusters above thick cushions made up of elongated, three-forked, notched, dark green leaves. The foliage is very resistant and robust. Azorella trifurcata 'Nana' loves well-drained, not too dry soil and prefers sunny locations; it also thrives in light shade and does not like waterlogging and locations that are too warm. It is particularly suitable for planting in rock gardens, on wall crowns or as a bed enclosure. Emerald carpet is also increasingly used for grave plantings because it is robust and very easy to maintain. Cover with brushwood or with a little foliage in the winter during the frost period.Flower colour: Yellow
